Cosy Cups at Black Pine Coffee

For the fourth instalment of the Glasgow’s Quirky Café’s blog, I present to you Black Pine Coffee. Located on Great Western Road in the West End of Glasgow, this cosy coffee shop offers a lovely, peaceful ambiance and some of the best coffee I’ve tried since moving to Glasgow. With a range of different roasts to choose from and enjoy, this is another must-try to add to the list.

Offering a wide array of pastries and coffees, it might be difficult to decide what to get. But from my many visits there I’ve learned, not single item on the menu will disappoint! With lots of  brilliant pastries and sandwiches to accompany your beverage of choice, it’s an overall lovely experience from start to finish.

Not only do they have brilliant food and drink, but the staff were lovely with every visit. I was always greeted with a  smile, and any questions I had were answered with ease. They ensured my experience was enjoyable, checking in with me in regards to my order, and asking me plans for the day.

The combination of the brilliant staff and calming atmosphere of the shop, it felt like a very safe space. I was able to relax, get work done and chat with friends. Just 5 minutes walk from Kelvinbridge subway station, it has a very accessible location for anyone in Glasgow, especially if you go to school or work in the West End.

Black Pine Coffee is a must-visit for anyone in Glasgow's West End. With its exceptional coffee, delightful pastries, and warm, attentive staff, it offers an experience that goes beyond just a café stop. Whatever you may be doping there, the cosy atmosphere makes it feel like a home away from home. In a fantastic location, it’s the perfect escape with a great cup of coffee to accompany you.
